Age under 14:
No need to join just come to a launch or meeting with a responsible adult.  No charge to fly.  No votes, either. That's just the way it is.  You can join the NAR as a junior member for $25.00 per year and get a  magazine and other benefits.  You could also join Tripoli (17 or under) for $30.00 per year plus $41.70 if you want the monthly magazine.  (This is NOT required for Tulsa Rocketry membership).

Age 14-17:
Associate membership, $3.00 per year.  You still fly free with a responsible adult. Membership card. Limited voting rights. You can join NAR as a junior member (under 16) or a leader member (16 to 20) for $25.00 per year and get a magazine and other benefits. You could also join Tripoli (17 or under) for $30.00 per year plus $41.70 if you want the monthly magazine. (This is NOT required for Tulsa Rocketry membership).

Age 18 or over:
Membership, $15.00 per year.  $5.00 per launch (High Power only, otherwise free) or $25 for annual launch pass.  Membership card.  Full voting rights. If you want to fly high power (anything bigger than a G) you must join either NAR (16 to 20 for $25.00 per year; 21 or over for $62.00 per year) or Tripoli (18 or over for $70.00 per year plus $41.70 if you want the monthly magazine.)

Tulsa Rocketry, NAR, Tripoli membership summary table

All figures are per year. After the first year Tripoli's dues are $10.00 less than the figures above.  NAR's magazine, Sport Rocketry (included with membership), issued 6 times per year.  Tripoli's magazine, Rockets Magazine, issued 6 times per year and is subscribed separately from your Tripoli membership.  The subscription price is $41.70 per year.   Both national organization's memberships fees include liability insurance.  See their respective websites for details.
