Keep an eye on this page for information on High Frontier 5.  The launch will take place later in 2008 at the Pawhuska Municipal Airport.  There will be lots to see and do, it will be fun for the whole family.  Check out www.pawhuskachamber.com for area details and lodging.

While you're waiting for news about High Frontier 5, here is a recap of High Frontier 4, which was held October 20-21, 2007.

Tulsa Rocketry held the fourth High Frontier launch October 20-21, 2007 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.  The winds caused many high power flights to stay on the ground.  Saturday saw 100 flights of mostly low to mid power.  Sunday had 91 flights, again mostly low to mid power.  Some photos are posted.

Kids under 18 flew free when accompanied by parents.  They had a blast as evidenced by the motor use statistics.

The 12-foot "Oklahoma Spirit" rocket flew at 3:40 PM Sunday afternoon and reached an altitude of 4510 feet. The Oklahoma Spirit flight honored the Oklahoma Centennial and was dedicated to Vince Moore of Tulsa, a great Oklahoman and former Tulsa Rocketry member who passed away on October 20, 2005. Vince's son, Russell Moore, pressed the launch button to launch the rocket.

The Grand Prize on Saturday was a 1/4 scale version of the Oklahoma Spirit rocket
